PROJECT OVERVIEW
Cells is a physical fine-pen art project exploring microscopic biological structures. The finished piece features an intricately detailed X chromosome alongside three different types of human cells, all completed exclusively in fine-tip pen. Research and supporting pieces, which occasionally incorporated subtle watercolor/paint accents, focused on subjects like the brain, chromosomes, DNA structure and neurotransmitters such as oxytocin, allowing for an artistic deep-dive into complex biological forms.
